The Wit & West Bespoke Experience is best suited for existing Wit & West customers/those who've smelled our fragrances before. If you haven't tried our fragrances before, we strongly recommend that you purchase one of our sample sets so that you can determine if both natural perfumery and our perfumery "style" aligns with your goals for creating a custom perfume. The Bespoke Refill is ONLY available for past Bespoke Experience customers.
INGREDIENTS: Our perfumes and colognes contain 100% all-natural and botanical ingredients such as distilled essential oils, extracts such as solvent extracted absolute oils and CO2 extracts, natural isolations, etc. that are extracted from botanicals like citrus, flowers, spices, wood, leaves, resins. Please see the individual product descriptions for details on each product’s ingredients.
INCI / POTENTIAL ALLERGENS: The naturally occurring components in our organic alcohol base, essential oils, absolutes, CO2 extracts, etc. used in our perfumes and colognes may contain one or more of the ingredients included on the list of potential fragrance allergens as defined by the European Union, e.g., allergens such as anisyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, benzyl cinnamate, benzyl salicylate, cinnamal, cinnamyl alcohol, citral, citronellol, coumarin, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, isoeugenol, limonene, linalool, and/or oakmoss extracts (evernia prunastri), etc. Please see the individual product descriptions for details on each product’s ingredients.
Citrus oils used in some of our perfumes can cause photosensitivity, do not apply to the skin before direct sun exposure.
SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS: As with any perfume, you should always conduct an allergy patch-test prior to use. Our perfumes contain natural ingredients such as citrus essential oils, floral absolutes, resins, etc. that some may find irritating to their skin. Discontinue use if signs of irritation or rash occur. Common Sense Reminder: For external use only. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes.
WEARING BOTANICAL PERFUMES: If you are new to natural botanical perfumes, the wearing experience may be different than what you are used to. Give each scent time to evolve, unfolding layer by layer from top, to heart to base (e.g., top notes that are fresh and citrusy fade and settle within minutes into the background).
BOTANICAL PERFUME LONGEVITY: Botanical perfumes tend to last between 2-6 hours on skin depending on the concentration (eau de colognes last 2-3 hours, eau de parfums 4-6 hours), the ingredients, as well as the wearer.
HOW TO MAKE BOTANICAL PERFUME LAST LONGER: Ensure you have moisturized skin and spritz liberally on pulse-points. For added longevity, spritz in your hair.
WHERE TO APPLY: Dark colored perfume may stain clothing. Spray directly on skin to avoid any mishaps.
TIPS FOR USE: When spraying for the first time, press the sample/bottle pump a few times to get it going. Do not attempt to remove the atomizer as it may break. See our FAQs for more tips & tricks.
PERFUME STORAGE: Store in a cool, dark area away from extreme temperatures.
Once you have purchased the Bespoke Experience, all shipments associated with the Bespoke Experience thereafter are free of charge (e.g., sample versions of your perfume and your final perfume).
Due to the highly personalized nature of the Wit & West Bespoke Experience, we do not offer refunds once the process has begun. Each custom fragrance requires significant time, often weeks or months, as well as an investment in ingredients, packaging, and shipping materials. If we have already started creating your fragrance—such as developing draft versions, sourcing materials, or sending samples for evaluation—a refund cannot be issued. However, if you change your mind before we have begun the process, email us at info@witandwest.com, and we will be happy to discuss your options.
