WHAT IS THE BESPOKE PERFUME EXPERIENCE?
The bespoke perfume process is a personalized experience that allows you to refine and edit your perfume blend with the support and expertise of our perfumer, Wit. The process includes 3 phases with edits to the formulation based on your feedback. Once selected, your final custom perfume will be mailed to you in two (2) 15ml bottles and one (1) 50ml bottle. We keep your perfume formulation on file so you can place refill orders of your perfume.
WHO IS THE BESPOKE EXPERIENCE BEST FOR?
The Wit & West Bespoke Experience is best suited for existing Wit & West customers/those who've smelled our fragrances before. If you haven't tried our fragrances before, we strongly recommend that you purchase one of our sample sets so that you can determine if both natural perfumery and our perfumery "style" aligns with your goals for creating a custom perfume. A PERFUME I USED TO OWN WAS DISCONTINUED, DO YOU DO RECREATIONS?
At Wit & West Perfumes our focus is on perfumery as an olfactive artform. As such, we only offer services for new/original creations and do not offer services focused on recreations of existing or discontinued fragrances (sometimes called "dupes").
HOW MUCH DOES THE BESPOKE PERFUME EXPERIENCE COST?
The Bespoke Perfume Experience cost is $850 USD (if you are outside the US, the price will convert to your country's currency). The cost includes the time to develop the custom scent, the materials for perfume samples (actual materials and shipping costs) as well as the final perfume mailed to you in two (2) 15ml bottles and one (1) 50ml bottle.
CAN I USE A DISCOUNT OR COUPON ON THE BESPOKE EXPERIENCE OR BESPOKE REFILLS?
No, discounts and coupons are NOT VALID on the Bespoke Experience or Bespoke Refills.
WHAT IS THE COMMUNICATION PROCESS THROUGHOUT THE BESPOKE EXPERIENCE?
Communication is done via email and if desired, can also be done virtually via video conference.
HOW LONG DOES THE BESPOKE PERFUME EXPERIENCE PROCESS TAKE?
The process can take between 3-6 months, depending on how quickly you are able to provide feedback on the iterations of your perfume (if you need more time to assess your perfumes it could take longer).
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS IF I CHANGE MY MIND ABOUT GETTING A CUSTOM PERFUME AFTER I PURCHASE THE BESPOKE EXPERIENCE?
Due to the highly personalized nature of the Wit & West Bespoke Experience, we do not offer refunds once the process has begun. Each custom fragrance requires significant time, often weeks or months, as well as an investment in ingredients, packaging, and shipping materials. If we have already started creating your fragrance—such as developing draft versions, sourcing materials, or sending samples for evaluation—a refund cannot be issued.

I WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE THE BESPOKE PERFUME EXPERIENCE FOR SOMEONE ELSE. HOW DO I DO THAT?
If you would like to purchase the Bespoke Perfume Experience for someone else, you may purchase a digital gift card. The digital gift card will be emailed to that individual directly (if desired, you may indicate in the digital gift card message the gift card can be used towards the Bespoke Perfume Experience).
I PREVIOUSLY HAD A BESPOKE PERFUME CREATED AND WOULD LIKE TO RE-PURCHASE THE PERFUME CREATED FOR ME. HOW DO I DO THAT?
Go to the Bespoke Refill page and simply select the bottle size you'd like and upon checkout provide the order number from your Bespoke Experience in the notes. Please note that orders for Bespoke Refills may take between 4-6 weeks to receive as we do not have previous client perfumes pre-made. Thus, the perfume will need to be made and then aged for several weeks prior to shipment.

DO YOU HAVE PAY OVER TIME / BUY NOW, PAY LATER PAYMENT OPTIONS?
Yes! Wit & West offers Shop Pay Installments through Shopify (in partnership with Affirm). Shop Pay allows you to pay for products as well as the Bespoke Perfume Experience over time.
